For over two decades, John Conley has served in several high-level positions in the information technology field both in the public and private sectors. His work experience includes advocating for some of the largest technical companies in the United States and establishing public-private partnerships between businesses and government agencies at the state and local levels.
John is coming off a long tenure at Cisco Systems which culminated in the management of all political consultants within US Public Sector. His background at the Ohio Board of Regents as a Deputy Chancellor gives him breadth and depth of experience. While in that role, one of John’s key accomplishments was the expansion of OARnet (Ohio Academic Resource Network) to 100 Gig which enhanced backbone services to higher education, k-12, local, county and state governments along with economic development in Ohio. He has been recognized for his efforts in Ohio and the Midwest.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in Organizational Communications.
